In the 1970s, the partially dismantled site was part of the Friends World College campus. U.S. Army Air Defense Command operated the sites with Regular Army units (possibly from 562nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment) from 1960 until 1966. Launch site relatively intact, magazines visible however appears launch doors concreted over. Radar facility used as storage for Lannon County Park and as a US Cellular tower site. Launch area well maintained shows both Ajax and Hercules elevators, and per Maryland State Police are welded shut.
Well preserved site with numerous IFC buildings in use.
Some buildings still in use, no towers, two concrete pilons still visible. This is an early Ajax-only site that was never converted to Hercules. No structures appear to remain. Used as a storage area.

Site was formerly the Naval Research Lab-Field Site lower Waldorf; the small observatory on the barracks associated with this usage has been removed. Formerly under US government control, National Institute of Standards and Technology. FDS In private ownership, the barracks north of the launch area were demolished in 2010 but were previously used as the Jacksonville Senior Center.
