Best thing about Charlotte: Charlotte is clearly a vibrant, growing city with an affordable real estate market, close to arguably the most beautiful part of the Appalachian Trail and home to the U.S. National White Water Center. Many residents have families and work it out just fine, other half are single and able to enjoy the town well enough. An intensive academic program in basic science and clinical orthopaedic surgery has been developed for resident education.
